Leestma Healthcare is the office of Dr. Eric Leestma, Dr. Micah Leestma, Adam Leestma F.N.P., Morganne Atteberry, F.N.P., and Mallory Matusik, F.N.P. We are a family medical practice serving patients in and around DeMotte, Indiana. We have provided healthcare of the highest caliber for more than 35 years.

Our Services
We provide the services of male and female healthcare providers for women’s health examinations and pap testing. Over the years, we have become renowned for the quality of our skincare treatments, and these include treatments for acne, psoriasis, rosacea, eczema, and more. Other services that we provide include skin cancer screening, skin biopsies, skin cancer removal surgery, mole removal surgery, and cryotherapy for warts are services we offer.
Family Medicine
We care for patients of all ages with chronic medical conditions such as high blood pressure, high cholesterol, diabetes, lung disease, and others. We also treat patients for urgent problems such as sinus infections, back pain, flu and much more.
Pediatrics
We treat kids for cold, flu and sinus/allergy problems. We offer wellness exams and acne treatment. Our young patients feel comfortable and parents are at ease as we patiently address any questions. We also see newborns, children, and adolescents for wellness exams and all required childhood/adolescent immunizations.
Skin Care
We perform routine skin cancer checks, biopsy of skin growths, skin cancer removal, and wart treatment. We treat common skin conditions such as eczema, acne, rosacea, and skin infections.
Women’s Health
We have both male and female practitioners for well woman exams, pap testing, contraception, STD testing, and others women’s health issues
Osteopathic
Our physicians are Doctors of Osteopathic medicine (D.O.) and therefore offer spinal manipulation for multiple problems including back pain, neck pain, headache, sinus problems, constipation, shoulder pain, and more.
Preventative
We offer patient-specific health screening for cholesterol problems, diabetes, prostate cancer, cervical cancer and others. We offer referrals for mammograms to screen for breast cancer, colonoscopy to screen for colon cancer, and low-dose CT to screen for lung cancer. We also offer medication to assist in smoking cessation.
Physicals
We perform a focused physical exam related to school and sports participation. Forms for your child’s physical are available on our website under patient forms.
Men’s Health
We offer low testosterone screening and testosterone injection therapy.
Physical Therapy
Leestma Healthcare has a full physical therapy studio on site staffed with therapists for to help our patients with pain, weakness, rehabilitation after surgery, sports injuries, and more.
Sports Medicine
We offer comprehensive weight loss planning and treatment. We use a whole-person approach involving counseling, changes in diet, exercise, and use of medications to achieve your goals.

Dr. Eric Leestma graduated from Dordt College in Sioux Center, Iowa with a bachelor’s degree in science in 1974. He then attended the Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine at Midwestern University where he graduated with his D.O. (Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine) degree in 1978 ....
Micah Leestma, D.O. | Doctor
Dr. Micah Leestma received his bachelor’s degree in biological sciences from Purdue University in 2007. From there he attended the Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine at Midwestern University where he received his D.O. (Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine) degree in 2011 ....
Adam Leestma, FNP-C
Adam Leestma received his bachelor of science in nursing from Purdue University and his Masters in nursing from South University. He is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. Adam is interested in working with patients across the lifespan and focusing on preventative medicine ....
Morganne Atteberry, F.N.P.
Morganne Atteberry was born and raised in DeMotte. She graduated from KV in 2011 where she enjoyed playing basketball and softball. She received her bachelors in nursing from Purdue North Central in 2016. She began working at a hospital in NWI where most of my years were spent in the emergency room. In 2021 she received her Masters in Nursing from Indiana University Northwest and began working in family medicine. She is a current member of Society of Nurses in Advanced Practice and American Association of Nurse Practitioners.
Morganne currently reside in Wheatfield with my husband, three children, and two dogs. Some of her favorite things to do with family are camping, bike rides, and board games. Her favorite personal hobby is reading.

Mallory Matusik received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Purdue University and her Doctor of Nursing Practice degree from Valparaiso University.
